News

Following essential fire safety refurbishment work at the NH Medical Education Centre the library has now moved to its new permanent location on the first floor of the MEC.  However, we are unable to offer access to PCs in the new library yet, as some further cabling work will need to be completed.  Please come in and say hello and browse our collection, we are open 9:00-17:00, and the KLS team will be available to answer your queries.   PC access is available in the Library computer room on the 1st Floor of the MEC, with direct entrance from the main hospital corridor.

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

Members can borrow up to 6 books, our loan period is 3 weeks and books can be renewed up to 4 times. Members can have access to our subscription content and may request items which are not in our collection through our interlibrary loans and document delivery services.

We also support staff with additional support needs by providing longer loan periods on our books, or by checking to see if a title is available as an ebook for you in order to increase the font size or make it more accessible. If you have any additional support needs at all that the library can accommodate, please let us know.
