In recent years, there has seen a revived interest in decolonising global health. The Covid-19 pandemic, which we saw disproportionately affect most marginalised and disadvantaged populations from black and brown people to migrants, contributed to this newly gained prominence. Decolonising global health is an initiative that aims to challenge Western-centric perspectives in the field of global health and promote equity among all nations and peoples. It involves acknowledging and addressing the historical and ongoing power imbalances that have resulted in the marginalization and exploitation of certain communities in the name of global health. This guide is designed to provide health professionals with resources and information on decolonising global health, to help them better understand the issues at hand and work towards a more just and inclusive approach to global health.
