BMJ Best Practice is a clinical decision support tool, uniquely structured around the patient consultation, with advice on symptom evaluation, tests to order and treatment approach. BMJ Best Practice have developed a COVID-19 topic guide
DynaMed is a clinical decision support tool, providing summaries for over 3,000 disease and condition topics, and incorporating over 1,000 drug topics. Updated daily, it includes guidelines from NICE, SIGN and Royal Colleges. Access the latest clinical evidence on the Novel Coronavirus from DynaMed® topic guide.
UpToDate is a time saving, evidence-based, clinical decision support tool which can be used at the point of care. It contains all the internal medicine sub-specialties all in one resource. The Coronavirus topic on UpToDate is available free worldwide in English
ClinicalSkills.net is an online educational resource supporting training and best practice in clinical skills procedures. All guidelines are presented in a highly illustrated step-by-step format. Procedures include guidelines for: Respiratory Care, Specimen Collection, Intravenous Therapy, Cannulation and Venepuncture and many more. Access requires a login contact us for more information.
The Royal Marsden Manual of Clinical Nursing Procedures is online manual of nursing procedures compiled from the latest clinical evidence. The Manual includes over 350 evidence-based clinical procedures related to every aspect of care, from handwashing to observations including respiratory assessment.
